TITLE: Supervisor of Facilities Management For Learners


Plan, direct and monitor FMFL Department and construction projects district wide.


1. Bachelor Degree in Construction Management, Engineering (preferred) or related area or five (5)
years of construction project supervisory experience
2. Knowledge of computer programming, word processing, and remote communications
3. Excellent written and oral communication skills
4. Experience in supervision
5. Knowledge of OSHA, AHERA, and IAQ

- Represent Facilities Management For Learners Department on facility maintenance and new
construction projects to be undertaken by the district.
- Interact with School Facilities Board personnel and architects to ensure compliance with state
- Administer tracking of project budgets and schedules.
- Ensure that district standards be maintained in the areas of maintenance, construction,
equipment, and energy management on all drawings and blueprints prior to the release of
projects by architectural/engineering firms.
- Draft working drawings for projects to be constructed by district maintenance staff.
- Establish maintenance and support agreements on material handling and custodial equipment.
- Coordinate with other government agencies in formulating reports to ensure receipt of available
government funds.
- Supervise and evaluate classified personnel as directed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
