TEMPE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL DISTRICT

TITLE: Grants Coordinator

JOB DESCRIPTION:

To serve as a support administrator for schools regarding monitoring, data gathering, communicating
compliance, grant accounting and budget analysis, budget management for state and federally funded
programs and related budgets.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Three (3) years school or district experience
2. Knowledge and experience in managing grant funded programs and related budgets
3. Demonstrated leadership qualities

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Provide assistance to principals on budget monitoring, use of resources, and data analysis.
- Provide demographic, enrollment, free lunch and other data needed for grant funded programs.
- Assist with compliance issues, amendments and training regarding grant funded programs law
and procedures.
- Research grant opportunities and draft grant proposals.
- Provide exceptional customer service to site administrators in related areas of school operation.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

DEPARTMENT: Finance

SALARY: C43

WORK YEAR: 12 Months

REPORTS TO: Director of School Improvement

EVALUATION: Central Administrative Evaluation

SUPERVISES: N/A
